自2001年8月公司成立以来，DAWIN Electronics开发了FRD模块阵容（100~300A，300~1200V）和IGBT模块阵容（50~400A，600~1200V）。DAWIN Electronics将尽快从MOSFET模块（50~100A，500~600V）发展到IPM系列。

2012年3月5日，MagnaChip半导体公司（“MagnaChip”）（纽约证券交易所股票代码：MX）宣布其韩国子公司已完成对Dawin Electronics Co. Ltd.的收购，该公司是一家私营半导体公司，设计和制造绝缘栅双极晶体管（IGBT） ），快速恢复二极管（FRD）和MOSFET模块。 Dawin Electronics总部位于韩国仁川，并在中国和欧洲设有销售办事处。

March 5,2012,MagnaChip Semiconductor Corporation ("MagnaChip") (NYSE: MX)  announced that its Korean subsidiary has completed its acquisition of Dawin Electronics Co. Ltd., a privately held semiconductor company that designs and manufactures Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT), Fast Recovery Diode (FRD) and MOSFET modules. Dawin Electronics is headquartered in Incheon, South Korea, and has sales offices in China and Europe.
